Core Competencies for Early Success
Our program uses a "Whole-Child" approach, blending play-based learning with structured lessons to develop the core competencies required for the Ontario Kindergarten curriculum.
- Early Literacy & Numeracy: Letter recognition, phonics, and foundational number sense
- Cognitive Development: Problem-solving, critical thinking, and memory skills
- Physical Milestones: Fine motor skills (writing/drawing) and gross motor skills
- Communication: Building language proficiency and social-emotional confidence
- Independence: Fostering self-reliance and the "soft skills" needed for a classroom setting
- Social-Emotional Skills: Sharing, taking turns, following instructions, and making friends
